  • International Support for Uyghurs Montreal, QC, Canada (map)

Join us for an evening of awareness and solidarity with the Uyghur community at the ISU conference, "Which Freedom for the Uyghur People? Religion, Control, and Activism in the Diaspora." Starting at 6:30 PM, we will begin with an introduction to the ISU followed by a screening of videos exposing the Chinese Communist Party's oppression of Uyghur religious freedom. From 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM, join us for Iftar with the Uyghur community, where authentic Uyghur food will be provided. The event will conclude with a panel discussion from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM, providing a platform to discuss issues facing the Uyghur people and ways to support their struggle for freedom and justice. Four distinguished guests from the diaspora Uyghur community will share their thoughts on this issue with the conference audience.
