Wednesday September 27th, ISU collaborated with the Montreal Institute for Genocide and Human Rights Studies (MIGS) to host a photo exhibition titled “Capturing The Uyghur Genocide Through The Lens Of Colonialism”. This exhibition was held from 12-1 pm at Concordia University and featured real world photographs of the Uyghur genocide as well as speeches by prominent MPS Sameer Zuberi and Garnett Genuis , Uyghur activists including camp survivor Kalbinur Sidik and academic researchers.
